Are you ready to enhance your expertise in infrastructure funding and financing? The Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, through the Indonesia Australia Partnership for Infrastructure (KIAT) and Australia Awards in Indonesia, invites applications for the Australia Awards Short Course on Building a Coalition for Quality Infrastructure Funding and Financing.
Delivered over two weeks in September 2024 in Australia, with pre-course and post-course workshops in Indonesia, this course aims to cultivate a coalition of mid-level professionals dedicated to planning and executing quality infrastructure projects through robust financial strategies. Leveraging the expertise of the Government of Australia and state governments in Victoria and New South Wales, participants will gain insights into effective infrastructure planning aligned with national and sector priorities.
Furthermore, the course will delve into the prerequisites and expectations of Australian institutional investors, exploring risk assessment and due diligence processes. Through case studies of infrastructure investment opportunities, participants will examine relevant risks, mitigations, and financial and legal considerations, drawing lessons from successful and unsuccessful Australian projects. Additionally, the course will emphasise best practices for integrating gender equality, diversity, social inclusion (GEDSI), and climate considerations into infrastructure planning and implementation. Participants will learn how to align governance and financial support with performance on these critical factors.
We strongly encourage women from disadvantaged backgrounds and people with disability to apply. Apply online via this link before 19 April 2024, at 11.59 pm WIB. For more details, please visit this page.
