Australia Awards in Indonesia, in collaboration with Adelaide University, invites you to join the upcoming AAI Skills Development Session, ‘Critical Thinking, Innovation and their Mutual Skill Reinforcement,’ delivered by Dr John Willison on Thursday, 6 August 2026, from 2.00 PM – 4.30 PM (WIB) via Zoom.

In today's rapidly changing academic and professional landscape, the ability to think critically and innovate has become more important than ever. As artificial intelligence and emerging technologies continue to transform the way we learn and work, students and professionals need the skills to analyse information thoughtfully, solve complex problems, adapt to change, and develop creative solutions.

This interactive workshop will explore how critical thinking and innovation reinforce one another and how these capabilities can be developed across different educational, research, and professional settings. Drawing on research-informed approaches and practical examples from Australia and Indonesia, Dr Willison will guide participants through discussions, case studies, and collaborative activities designed to help apply these skills to real-world challenges.
