Music, Community and Connections, the First Gig on the Green Comes to Mataram!

Gig on the Green Mataram made its debut, bringing Australian alumni, friends and families together to celebrate community, connection and the enduring Australia-Indonesia relationship.

Hosted by the Australian Consul-General in Makassar, Ms Jo Stevens, and emceed by Australia Awards alumna Nur Aida Arifah Tara and Bimo Sakti, the event featured vibrant performances by Butterfly Trio Acoustic, Inggid Wakano and Australian band Brrr Music. Alumni and guests also enjoyed alumni-owned food stalls, an Aussie sausage sizzle, face painting, temporary tattoos, a 360-degree video booth and a lively photo competition.

More than just an evening of entertainment, Gig on the Green Mataram provided an opportunity for alumni to reconnect, expand their networks and strengthen community ties.
