From Reflection to Reconnection: Reintegration Workshop Jakarta 2026

Recently returned Australia Awards alumni came together in Jakarta to navigate their transition home, strengthen their skills and reconnect with the alumni community!

Returning home after studying in Australia marks the beginning of a new chapter. At the 2026 Reintegration Workshop in Jakarta, alumni reflected on their transition home, built new connections and prepared for their next steps.

Throughout the hybrid program, alumni explored goal setting, action planning, and navigating reverse culture shock, followed by two days of interactive sessions on storytelling, public diplomacy, networking and leadership development.

The experience continued beyond the workshop, with alumni joining Gig on the Green, the annual music festival welcoming OzAlum back to the community. From learning and reflection to music and connection, the experience gave alumni an opportunity to expand their networks and connect with the broader Australian alumni community.
