Congratulations to Six OzAlum for Their Achievements
Congratulations to these six OzAlum for making us proud with their recent achievements!
From the top left – Nina Nurmila, a Professor of Gender and Islamic Studies at the State Islamic University (UIN) Bandung, was recently inaugurated as Dean of the Faculty of Education at the International Islamic University of Indonesia. She obtained her Master’s Degree from Murdoch University, and a PhD on Gender and Islamic Studies from the University of Melbourne.
The next one is Anas Pattaray – a Lecturer at Tourism Polytechnic of Lombok, who received the honorary award of Satyalancana Karya Satya X from the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo. Anas is an alumnus of Australia Awards’ Sustainable Tourism for Regional Growth Short Term Awards, which was hosted by Griffith University and Sunshine Coast University in Queensland.
Then there is Heribertus Rinto Wibowo, an alumnus of Curtin University who obtained a Master of Public Health. He is the Deputy Director at Tulodo and was recently re-elected as the President of CUACI (Curtin University Alumni Chapter Indonesia).
From the bottom row of the picture – Faruq Ibnul Haqi, a PhD Candidate and Researcher at University of South Australia who obtained his Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the same university, was recently inaugurated as the Coordinator of PPI Dunia (Perhimpunan Pelajar Indonesia Dunia) or Overseas Indonesian Students' Association Alliance (OISAA), for the period of 2021 – 2022.
The next one is Professor Marsudi Wahyu Kisworo, who was recently appointed as the Independent Commissioner at PT Rajawali Nusantara Indonesia. He obtained both Postgraduate Diploma and PhD in Computer Science from Curtin University.
The last but not least – Yohan Tangke Salu, the CEO of Genus Group Indonesia and an alumnus of Australia Awards’ Sustainable Tourism for Regional Growth Shorth Term Awards, also received the honorary award of Satyalancana Kepariwisataan from the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo.
