Empowering Indonesia’s Transition to Electric Vehicles: A Successful Post-Course Workshop in Jakarta

It was a pleasure to see the representatives from ministries of Indonesia, government agencies, academia, and private sector at a recent post-course workshop organised as part of the Australia Awards Short Course. This event took place in Jakarta on 30 July – 1 August, and served as a platform for the course participants to showcase their projects and propose innovative ideas aimed at enhancing sustainable transport solutions.

The participants of this workshop recently attended the Australia Awards Short Course on Accelerating the Transition to Electric Vehicles for Sustainable Transport Solutions. The course, which was delivered by Griffith University and managed by Australia Awards in Indonesia, focused on showcasing Australian policies, expertise, and initiatives related to transitioning from Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicles to Electric Vehicles (EVs). The course also provides participants with knowledge of best-practice policies and regulations to support this and how these policies can be practically employed in Indonesia to support its EV aspirations.

Heartfelt congratulations for successfully completing the course and becoming esteemed Australia Awards alumni! We extend our best wishes for their continued success as they embark on their future journeys.
