Project Rationale:
The proposed project is important because there is inequality of education for deaf children in Indonesia, which creates a barrier for them to get employment in the future. This program will increase the capacity and employability of these young people so that they will one day earn an income independently. Moreover, this program is important to advance deaf education in Indonesia by empowering deaf teachers and families. Environmental education for deaf children is important as they are part of the future generation of Indonesia that will face the challenge of global climate change.
