LPDP-Australia Awards Scholarships

Apply for the LPDP-Australia Awards Scholarships (AAS) and receive a world-class education in Australia. 

The LPDP-Australia Awards Scholarships are a new and prestigious scholarship scheme offered jointly by the Indonesian and Australian Governments.

Scholarships are available for high-achieving future leaders to study for a Masters degree at an Australian university. 

The Indonesian President and Australian Prime Minister announced a new collaboration between LPDP and Australia Awards in Indonesia at their Annual Leaders Meeting in Sydney in July 2023. This new partnership will enhance and expand scholarship opportunities for Indonesian students studying in Australia.

Scholarships will be offered for study programs related to the food security, energy, digitalisation (AI and semiconductors), health, downstreaming and industrialisation, maritime, and advanced materials and manufacturing, equipping scholars to contribute to Indonesia’s long-term development.

The LPDP-Australia Awards Scholarship offers a wide range of benefits, including English language training and academic support prior to studying in Australia, as well as professional development, networking and enrichment activities prior to, during, and after studying in Australia.

Applicants will be assessed on their professional qualities, soft skills, academic competence and their potential to overcome development challenges in Indonesia. 

The Scholarships are available to all eligible Indonesian citizens. People with disability and residents of target areas who have demonstrated academic excellence are encouraged to apply. LPDP and Australia Awards are committed to gender equality.
