Recently in mid-June, Dr Julian Clifton, a Senior Lecturer at the University of Western Australia School of Agriculture and Environment, gave a guest lecture on “Managing for Conservation in the Coral Triangle” at the Australian Embassy in Jakarta. Dr Julian stated that there are opportunities for more Australia – Indonesia collaborations, not only in marine conservation, but also in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
