Prof Mohamad Abdalla, Director of the Centre for Islamic Thought and Education (CITE) at the University of South Australia, recently gave the keynote presentation at the “Contemporary Islam in Indonesia and Australia Seminar”. As one of Australia’s most respected Muslim leaders, Prof Abdalla touched on the need for Islam to be inclusive and on the importance of mutual respect among differing faiths.
