Many ideas, innovations, and collaborations came from Indonesian policymakers attending the Australia Awards post-course workshop last week in Bogor. Participants enthusiastically shared their projects and presented creative ideas on using data for better policies and public services.
These policymakers have attended the Australia Awards Short Course on Governing in Digital Age run virtually by Griffith University in October – December 2021. They explored current and future digital innovations and big data applications in public service delivery during the online course. They also learned how to produce better, analyse, and use data to inform policy decisions, as accurate and timely data is critical in developing effective responses towards the COVID-19 pandemic.
