Grains Value Chain Leadership: Insights and Collaboration for Indonesian Professionals

Indonesian private sector professionals recently gathered in Jakarta for the Post-Course Workshop of the Australia Awards Short Course on Grains Value Chain Leadership Program.

This course, delivered by the University of Queensland, was organised through a collaboration between IA-CEPA ECP Katalis, Grains Australia, the Indonesian Flour Milling Association (APTINDO), and the Indonesian Feedmills Association (GPMT). It provided participants with the skills to strengthen industry partnerships, expand professional networks, and deepen their understanding of the grains value chain across Indonesia and Australia.

Throughout the post-course workshop, participants had opportunities to build connections and exchange ideas. Reflecting on her experience, a participant Wiwin Namara shared her gratitude: “In addition to gaining insights from mentors who are experts in their fields, we also had the opportunity to build international networks.” A workshop highlight was visiting Tanjung Priok Port, where participants learned the wheat supply chain process.

Congratulations to the graduates on completing this course and joining the Australia Awards alumni network! We look forward to seeing their future achievements.
