Join Our Lecture on “Effects of Connected and Automated Vehicle Technologies on Transport Safety”

How are connected and automated vehicle (CAV) technologies reshaping transport safety, mobility, and efficiency? Join us for an engaging online lecture titled “Effects of Connected and Automated Vehicle Technologies on Transport Safety”, presented by Dr Shamsunnahar Yasmin from Queensland University of Technology, on Friday, 24 January 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Jakarta time).

This lecture will explore QUT's project on the growing prevalence of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and its implications for transport safety. Dr Yasmin will discuss how ADAS, as a Level 2 automation feature, helps vehicles avoid crashes or mitigate collision severity. She will also highlight the multidisciplinary approach used to examine the safety effects of ADAS technologies and the development of an integrated policy support tool for evaluating the safety effectiveness of vehicles equipped with current and future CAV technologies.

This lecture is open to the public, with a particular invitation extended to graduates and scholars from Australian tertiary institutions in Indonesia. To confirm attendance, please RSVP before Wednesday, 22 January, using this link. Attendees will receive an e-certificate in recognition of their participation.
