Jakarta once again came alive on 27 September with Gig on the Green, a much-anticipated celebration of music, connection, and alumni spirit. Around 600 guests gathered at Rumah Sarwono for an evening that blended creativity, community, and friendship.
Guided by the dynamic MC duo Australian Alumni Asmi Nurais and Aldi Tama, the night was filled with energy and laughter. From alumni-run food stalls serving a variety of treats to interactive corners featuring face painting, temporary tattoos, a Wall of Memories, and a 360° video booth, every corner buzzed with activity.
The stage came alive with powerful performances by Australian Alumni Mutiara Azka, Australian singer Neptune, and Indonesian music icon Kunto Aji, making the evening truly unforgettable.
In his remarks, HE Roderick Brazier, Australia’s Ambassador to Indonesia, highlighted the strength of the Australia-Indonesia alumni community and the friendships that continue to grow between the two countries.
The celebration would not have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors and partners. Warm thanks to Qantas Airways, Kalbe Blackmores, Mangan House, Ecomama, Tugu Kunstkring Paleis, RS Primaya Tangerang, and all alumni-owned F&B businesses whose contributions made the night a success.
A big thank you to everyone who joined us and made the night so special. We look forward to more moments of music, friendship and collaboration in the future!
