Are you ready to drive Indonesia toward a cleaner, circular and more sustainable future? Australia Awards in Indonesia, in collaboration with the Australia Indonesia Partnership for Climate, Renewable Energy and Infrastructure (KINETIK), invites applications for the Australia Awards Short Course on Closing the Loop: Inclusive and Circular Solutions for Solid Waste in Indonesia.

This course supports Indonesia’s waste management reform agenda, aligned with the RPJMN 2025–2029, by equipping participants with practical tools to translate national commitments into real action. Through sessions on circular economy principles, inclusive planning, financing and business models and case studies from Australia, participants will learn how to design integrated and innovative waste solutions.

The course is aimed at policy developers, analysts, and technical personnel from relevant ministries, local governments, CSOs, academia, Danantara, and waste entrepreneurs. Participants will explore Australian and regional case studies, benchmark policies and apply learnings through the development of an Award Project, designed to implement improvements within their respective institutions.
