Join our online guest lecture, ‘Creating Safe and Resilient Workplaces: Psychological Safety, Inclusivity and Mental Wellbeing in Dynamic Work Environments’, presented by Dr Ankit Agarwal from Adelaide University and Professor Andrew Wait from The University of Sydney, on Friday, 9 October 2026, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm (Jakarta time).

As workplaces continue to change through technological developments, increasing job demands and shifting organisational expectations, creating supportive and inclusive environments has become increasingly important. Psychological safety, mental wellbeing and employee autonomy can shape how people communicate, collaborate and perform at work.

In this guest lecture, Dr Agarwal and Professor Wait will bring together perspectives from management, organisational behaviour and economics to explore how workplace practices and organisational cultures influence employee experiences and outcomes. Drawing on recent research and practical organisational examples, they will discuss workplace stress, burnout and depression, as well as the role of managerial support, autonomy and psychological safety in building resilient workplaces.

Participants will gain evidence-based insights into how leaders and organisations can create supportive and empowering work environments that promote employee wellbeing, engagement and productivity.
