Are you keen to learn the lessons on the implementation of remote learning during the COVID-19 pandemic? Join our online lecture on 18 November at 2:00 pm Jakarta time and engage in discussion with Dr I Gusti Ngurah Darmawan from the University of Adelaide.
The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted education systems in many countries and affected billions of students. School closures during COVID-19 led to an unprecedented global experiment in delivering remote learning as an emergency response. These were intended to reach all students to address the learning loss and force the government to reinvent the traditional model of school-based learning to be more innovative. There are some challenges, such as the availability of technology for effective remote learning, the teacher's method of teaching, the intense interaction between teachers and students, and parents' roles during the learning process.
This presentation seeks to discuss lessons learned from remote learning experiences during COVID-19. Despite the challenges, in the two years, various occasions have been documented, capacities created, and new forms of education delivery adopted at a scale. This presents several possibilities for reimagining how education can be offered and enriched in the years to come.
The e-certificate for participation is available. If you are interested in attending this event, RSVP by 16 November at this link. Click here for more information about the online lecture and Dr I Gusti Ngurah Darmawan.
