Are you a STEM professional ready to make a significant impact in your field? The Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, through Australia Awards in Indonesia and KONEKSI (Collaboration for Knowledge, Innovation, and Technology Australia and Indonesia), invites you to seize the opportunity and apply for the Australia Awards Short Course on Breaking Barriers: Promoting Inclusive Leadership in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
This two-week intensive course in Australia, complemented by pre-course and post-course workshops in Indonesia, is designed to equip participants with an in-depth understanding of Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) principles and their application in STEM research and innovation.
Participants will explore strategies to identify and address barriers to inclusivity, develop leadership skills, and foster collaboration with Australian STEM professionals and policymakers. They will also gain practical insights into creating systemic change, promoting gender equality, and championing inclusivity within their organisations.
