Music, Memories and Connections, Gig on the Green Shone Bright in Surabaya!

On 20 September, Surabaya once again buzzed with excitement as Gig on the Green brought alumni together for a joyful evening at Rustic Market, celebrating music, creativity and the enduring bonds of community.

Energising the night were our lively MCs, Eva Marcella and Diko Putranto, who kept the crowd engaged with humour and warmth. Around the venue, alumni-run food stalls served up an array of delicious treats, while interactive corners, featuring face painting, temporary tattoos, a Wall of Memories, and a 360° video booth, invited everyone to play, share, and connect.

The stage lit up with unforgettable performances by Maseta, Alderamin and Australian singer Neptune, filling the night with rhythm and excitement. In his remarks, Mr Glen Askew, Australia’s Consul-General in Surabaya, celebrated the growing spirit of collaboration and camaraderie within the alumni community.
