Join Our Lecture on ‘Beyond the Bottom Line: ESG Reporting and the Future of Sustainable Business’

How can businesses move beyond profit to create long-term value for society, the environment, and future generations?

Join us for the online guest lecture, Beyond the Bottom Line: ESG Reporting and the Future of Sustainable Business’, delivered by Professor Jacqueline Birt from Charles Sturt University, on Friday, 6 February 2026, from 1:45pm to 4:00pm (Jakarta time).

This lecture highlights the growing importance of sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) reporting in modern business. Professor Birt will unpack why organisations are increasingly expected to be transparent about how they create long-term value while managing environmental and social impacts and explain the key principles that underpin sustainability reporting today.

The session will explore globally adopted sustainability accounting standards and reporting frameworks that strengthen credible ESG disclosures for investors, regulators and the wider community. It will also examine how the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) influence corporate reporting, drawing on real-world examples from leading Australian companies such as Qantas, CSL and JB Hi-Fi Ltd, while offering practical insights into ethical conduct, accountability and sustainable business growth.

Indonesian graduates and scholars of Australian tertiary institutions are especially encouraged to attend. Please RSVP via this link by Wednesday, 4 February 2026. Due to limited places, early registration is recommended. Attendees will receive an e-certificate of participation.
