NSW Governor welcomes Australia Awards in Indonesia students to Government House

The Governor of NSW, His Excellency General The Honourable David Hurley and Mrs Hurley, hosted 30 Australia Awards in Indonesia (AAI) students at Government House Sydney.  The occasion was the conclusion of the NSW Government Australia Awards in Indonesia Seminar Series, delivered as a collaboration between the NSW Government and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) since March 2017.  Also in attendance was the Indonesian Consul General Mr Yayan Ganda Hayat Mulyana, Peter Mackey ‎Director International Trade at NSW Department of Industry and Ryan Neelam Deputy Director DFAT (NSW).  The Seminar Series provided AAI students with an opportunity to witness first-hand the activities of the NSW Government through a combination of seminars and site visits, designed to enhance professional linkages with Australian organisations.  It is anticipated that the NSW Government and DFAT collaboration will continue for another seminar series in 2018.
