We are delighted to have reconnected with our alumni during the 'Nobar' with OzAlum events in Mataram (6 June), Manado (8 June), Bandung (9 June), Padang (14 June), Samarinda (21 June), and Balikpapan (22 June)! These special gatherings, part of the Australia-Indonesia Cinema Festival, invited alumni along with their friends and family to immerse themselves in Australian culture and stories through the screenings of the films Blueback (screened in Mataram, Manado and Samarinda), I Am Woman (screened in Bandung and Padang) and Talk to Me (screened in Balikpapan).
From the heartwarming conversations during networking sessions to the excitement of film quizzes and delightful snacks, each city became a hub of Australian cultural immersion. It was wonderful reconnecting with familiar faces and welcoming new friends into our alumni community.
As we continue to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Australia-Indonesia diplomatic relations, stay tuned for more enriching experiences in other cities. Join us as we celebrate the spirit of our nation's friendship across Indonesia!
